Charlie graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has experience across both hospital and private practice settings. His background includes orthopaedics, medical, ICU and outpatient services as well as a wide range of acute to complex musculoskeletal conditions seen in the private practice space. This experience allows Charlie to confidently manage patients with varying presentations, from early-stage post-surgical rehabilitation to ongoing injury management and return-to-activity care in the private practice setting.
Charlie has also worked with local sporting teams, including the Springbank Football Club in Ballarat and the Women’s Camberwell Premier League Hockey team, gaining valuable experience in sports injury management and performance-based rehabilitation.
Charlie has a strong interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation that has stemmed from his own involvement in sports, such as hockey, golf, AFL; as well as training for running events including marathons and half ironmans. From his participation in these activities, Charlie has come across his own injuries and rehabilitation that has sparked his passion for physiotherapy. Charlie is passionate about helping patients get back to what they want to be doing as best as possible through effective, evidence-based physiotherapy.
In his own time, Charlie enjoys going for a run, cycling, bouldering, playing golf and catching up with friends
